Monnow Eyecare sponsors acting workshop

We are delighted to confirm that we have agreed to sponsor the Off Centre TheatreActing Workshop on 4th April. The workshop will take place at The Priory in Monmouth from 7-10pm and is ideal for anyone who would like to develop and improve their acting skillset.
The workshop will be hosted by Kevin Tillett and Bob Traynor. Kevin is a successful West End Stage actor, trainer and presenter, who has worked extensively outside the UK. Bob has also enjoyed success on the West EndStage, in touring productions, has acted in films and is a singer. They each have almost 40 years’ experience to share with participants at the workshop.
The workshop is free for all over 18s to attend and promises to be good fun. Some of the areas to be covered during the workshop include understanding and building a character; acting when not speaking; putting character into voice; improvisation games and conquering stage fright. Refreshments are included.
Commenting on the sponsorship, Helen Tilley, owner of Monnow Eyecare said “We are really pleased to extend our partnership with Off Centre Theatre which goes back over5 years, by sponsoring this exciting acting workshop. It’s a great opportunity to broaden our range of support for the local community we serve.”

This workshop with the legendary Kevin andBob is a great opportunity for seasoned performers and complete beginners to sharpen their skills, grow their confidence and have a lot of fun!”
