Adib

Adib is a qualified optometrist holding a Distinction in his Postgraduate Master’s Degree from Cardiff University. He is dedicated to providing exceptional eyecare, managing the Monnow Eyecare business, and supporting the community with a wide range of services.

He holds a professional certificate in Low Vision Care, Glaucoma, and Medical Retina and he is skilled in managing macular conditions and ensuring patients receive the best possible care.

Adib is also qualified as an Independent Prescribing (therapeutics) Optometrist, which enables him to treat any complicated eye condition by prescribing appropriate medication.

Adib was also honoured with the Rising Star Award at 2025 Optometry Wales Awards. He now plays a significant leadership role in the wider sector, sitting on the Welsh Optical Committee, acting as the North Monmouthshire Optometry Collaborative Lead, Aneurin Bevan University Health Board Optometrist Lead and a Councillor for Optometry Wales nationally.

Outside of work, Adib is an outdoors enthusiast. He enjoys rock climbing, playing tennis, and running.
