Perran

Perran is a newly-qualified optometrist. He graduated from Cardiff University’s Optometry and Vision Sciences programme with a first class degree. He currently splits his time between between Monnow Eyecare and BBR optometry.

Perran is very enthusiastic and passionate about optometry and is looking forward to being apart of optometry in Wales, learning from his colleagues at Monnow Eyecare to enhance his knowledge further.

He completed professional certifications in Glaucoma and Medical Retina during his pre-registration year and is starting the independent prescribing (therapeutics) qualification in September which will allow him to develop his knowledge and provide more comprehensive care for the community.

Outside of work, Perran enjoys pushing his physical limits. He is currently training for an Ironman70.3 in Malaga before entering a full distance Ironman in the near future. He looks forward to participating in these and using them as a way of travelling around the world and experiencing different cultures.
