Scott

Scott qualified as an optometrist in 2021 whilst working at Monnow eyecare, after obtaining a first-class honours degree from Cardiff University. Whilst at university Scott consistently performed at the top of his class, achieving awards for best overall performance in both first and second year.

Scott is also a member of the college of optometrists, and holds further qualifications including the diploma in therapeutics, EHEW accreditation, higher certificate in glaucoma, and the professional certificate in glaucoma.

Outside of Monnow Eyecare, Scott also has experience within secondary eye care services, working as part of a multidisciplinary team in the glaucoma service at the Royal Gwent Hospital.

Scott has also assisted in delivering clinic-based tutoring at both undergraduate and postgraduate level at Cardiff University School of Optometry.
