Adib

Adib is a qualified optometrist holding distinction in a postgraduate master’s degree from Cardiff University. He divides his time between patient care at Monnow Eyecare and his role as a clinical tutor at Cardiff University’s School of Optometry.

At the practice, he is dedicated to providing exceptional eyecare, managing the business, and supporting the community with a wide range of services. Adib serves as the optometry lead for the North Monmouthshire Optometry Collaborative and is a member of the Regional Optical Committee for Southeast Wales. Recently, he was appointed as a committee member for the Welsh Optical Committee.

He holds a professional certificate in low vision care, glaucoma, and medical retina. With the introduction of the WGOS4 pathway, he is skilled in managing macular conditions and ensuring patients receive the best possible care. Adib is also committed to further advancing his expertise in the field.

Currently, Adib is completing his qualification in independent prescribing (therapeutics), which will enable him to provide even more comprehensive care for his community.

Outside of work, Adib is an outdoors enthusiast. He enjoys rock climbing, playing tennis, and has recently joined Monmouth Rowing Club.
